Well the first of the new Sony LCD TV’s for 2009 has just been released, at the moment there is a new range of W and V series Bravia TV’s the 5500′s.

I got to play with the new KDL40W5500 last week and I have to say I was blown away, the picture quality was amazing, I watched Man United vs Aston Villa on Sky HD and the KDL-40W5500 enhanced it in such away that there was no visable blurr, it really was like being at the game, or as close as you can get.

The new Sony Bravia KDL40W5500 has a whole host of new features including the new AppliCast feature that lets you see internet information on your Bravia TV while you’re watching television. You don’t have to switch on your PC – just call up widgets onto the TV screen.  You just subscribe to the RSS feeds you want and you can get all the information at the touch of a button.
