Board Games For Christmas

Here at Gadgets and Gizmos we are starting to think about Christmas!  Yes, it’s that time already and although we already have our Christmas list sorted out for our gadgets (our xmas ‘must have gadgets’ post is coming soon!) we have become all nostalgic and have decided that board games are going on our christmas lists, they also make great xmas gifts!   Yes, i’m putting away the wii and my ds lite, (for a few hours at least) and this year we are going to sit around with the Family and play a nice board game, while the Queen’s speech is on in the background.  Now the problem is, I haven’t bought a board game in years and have no idea what is out, what is good and what is rubbish, until I came across this board game website called board games for christmas    which is a great little site that not only features the latest board games and he biggest must have board games for this christmas but it also has a great price comparison table that allows you to see at a glance which online retailers have stock, which we all know in the mad months of November and December can be a very hand thing, but more importantly who has the cheapest prices.  This really is a great site and saved me nearly 20% off the rrp of the 2 board games we decided to go for this christmas, the first was the new Monopoly Here and Now World Edition and the other was The Kids Are All Right electronic board game, both of which were featured in the Top Dream Toys List for 2008!
