Well Paramont Pictures will be releasing the new Star Trek 2009 Movie in 3 different packages for your home viewing entertainment.

With the UK  release date of November 16th, the new Star Trek Movie will be available as a single disc edition dvd, a 2 disc special edition dvd and the ultimate way to watch the new Star Trek Movie, the 3 disc digital Blu Ray edition!

For me, it’s the Star Trek Movie Blu Ray 3 disc edition all the way, I cannot wait to see what it will look like on my new Sony KDL46Z5500 .

The extras on the Star Trek Movie Blu Ray and the Star Trek Movie DVD 2 disc look amazing.

Batman The Dark Knight has been offically announced to be released in the UK on Dec 8th.  The Dark Knight dvd will be a special edition 2 disc set full of features.  All that’s known about the features on the dark knight dvd is that it will include the dark knight film, plus the Gotham Uncovered: Creation of a Scene documentary, The Dark Knight IMAX Scenes (the ability to view the 6 IMAX sequences in their original framing), 6 episodes of the fictional Gotham Tonight news program, galleries of poster art and production stills, and a Digital Copy version of the film

The Dark Knight will also be released on Blu-Ray as a 2 disc set, which I cannot wait to see!  The confirmed extras are the same as the Dark Knight dvd 2 disc special edition plus The Dark Knight Blu-ray will include all that, plus the exclusive Batman Tech: The Incredible Gadgets and Tools and Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of The Dark Knight featurettes, additional galleries (Joker Cards, concept art), trailers, TV spots and BD-Live enhancement. The movie on the Blu-ray will also be enhanced with something called Focus Points. All the video features will be in full HD on the Blu-ray, and the audio will be Dolby TrueHD.

Hot Toys are one of the best collectable toy makers on the market, the detail is amazing and this batmobile and the bat-pod which will also be available in December look amazing!  This is now on the top of my most wanted list for christmas and I might have to get my pre-order in before they all sell out.

So make sure you take a look at the batmobile and the bat-pod and just see the detail in this, it really is amazing.  Also watch out for the 12″ Dark Knight Hot Toys figures that are also available in December including Batman the dark knight, The Joker, The Joker in Robber clothes and coming in 2009 and just announced Harvey Dent/Two face.
